About FiCare FCU

You can join FiCare if you are an employee, contractor or volunteer for any healthcare organization nationwide. 

Membership is also open to:

• Family members of healthcare employees and healthcare volunteers.
• Students 18 and older who are pursuing a healthcare degree or license, full or part-time.

Visit a FiCare branch between 8 am and 4 pm weekdays. FiCare will need two forms of accepted identification to open an account. See the list of accepted forms of identification here.

Ficare is primarily mobile so you can manage your finances quickly and efficiently. However, FiCare has a physical branch in Tampa, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater and Gainesville. You can find our branch addresses, hours of operation, ATMs and more information here.

Withdrawals, Deposits, Transfers, and Bill Pay

Withdraw funds using your FiCare debit or credit card at any Publix Presto™ ATM in the southeastern United States. There’s never a fee!

FiCare’s mobile app makes transferring funds from one account to another or to another financial institution seamless. Depositing a check? Just follow the prompts on FiCare’s mobile app. Don’t forget to set up bill pay!

FiCare also accepts Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Would you like to deposit cash? If you aren’t near a FiCare branch, visit a CO-OP shared branch near you. Shared branches are credit unions with which FiCare has a partnership. This means that you can easily access your FiCare accounts and make transactions, arrange for wire transfers, make loan payments, and more.

Credit unions are not-for-profit cooperatives and all profits made by credit unions are returned back to members in the form of reduced fees, higher savings rates and lower loan rates.

Credit unions are owned by their members. A volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the members, governs a credit union. Each member gets one vote and an equal say in how the credit union is run. With their vote, each member has a direct impact on the direction of the credit union. Also, "people helping people" is the credit union philosophy. A credit union's goal is to serve their members equally and provide charitable contributions to the community.
